Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-10-29

SSSTikTok is built to need as little information about you as possible. There are no accounts, so there is no profile to keep.

What we process

  • The link you paste. It is sent to our server so we can read the public TikTok post and prepare the files. It is held in short-term memory for about 10 minutes so the download buttons keep working, then discarded.
  • Server logs. Like every website, our server records the time of each request, the page or file requested, your browser type and your IP address. We use logs to keep the service running, to stop abuse (for example automated scraping) and to count visits. Logs are deleted on a rolling basis.
  • Security checks. We may use a bot-protection service that checks whether a request comes from a real browser. It does not ask you for personal details.
  • Analytics and adverts. We may use privacy-respecting analytics to see which pages are popular, and advertising partners to keep the tool free. Where they use cookies or similar technology, they follow their own privacy policies and, where required, ask for your consent.

What we don’t do

  • We don’t ask for your name, email address or TikTok login.
  • We don’t store the videos you download or build a history of them.
  • We don’t sell personal data.

Wherever you visit from, we process the small amount of data above because we need it to run a secure, working website (under the GDPR this is our “legitimate interest”). You can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to delete it, or object to how it’s used. These rights apply to everyone, not only to people covered by laws such as the GDPR in the EU and UK, the CCPA in California, the LGPD in Brazil or the DPDP Act in India. Because we don’t link logs to names, we may need the approximate time of your visit and your IP address to find anything. If you’re unhappy with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country.
